Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing customer experience, reducing order issues, and increasing AOV through post-purchase engagement, AE: Order Editing & Upsell is the clear choice. Its self-service editing, upsell capabilities, and automation features offer a comprehensive solution. However, for merchants primarily concerned with quickly updating tracking information for a large number of orders, particularly those using external fulfillment services, AOD‑ Order Tracking No. Update provides a straightforward and efficient solution. Its CSV import functionality streamlines the tracking update process, saving valuable time.
While both apps serve the broader 'Orders' category, they address distinct pain points. Merchants should carefully evaluate their specific needs and priorities before selecting an app. The significant difference in the number of reviews suggests AE has a larger and more established user base, potentially indicating greater reliability or wider applicability, but AOD could still be a good fit for a simple tracking update solution.
