Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving the post-purchase experience, reducing customer support burdens, and proactively increasing AOV, AE: Order Editing & Upsell is the clear choice. Its focus on enabling customer self-service and integrating with Shopify Flow positions it as a valuable tool for optimizing the post-purchase workflow. However, merchants needing deep insights into their sales data, custom reporting, and automation of order-related communication should prioritize EXPORT OrderPro. Its powerful reporting engine and automated delivery options provide the tools needed for data-driven decision-making and streamlined business processes.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the merchant's specific priorities and needs. A small business with limited resources and a high volume of customer inquiries might greatly benefit from AE: Order Editing & Upsell. A larger, more established business focused on optimizing supply chains and analyzing sales trends would likely find EXPORT OrderPro more valuable.
Common Questions

No. EXPORT OrderPro is focused on data extraction and reporting, not customer-facing order editing. AE: Order Editing & Upsell is specifically designed for this purpose.
Which app is easier to use for a non-technical user?
While both apps claim to be user-friendly, AE: Order Editing & Upsell likely has a simpler user interface for the *customer*, as they are only editing their existing order. EXPORT OrderPro's drag-and-drop report builder suggests an intuitive design, but customizing reports may require more effort and understanding of data fields. EXPORT OrderPro likely takes more expertise to set up.
How do these apps handle shipping address validation?
