AE: Order Editing & Upsell vs GO Tracking: Whatsapp updatesfor Shopify (2026)
AE: Order Editing & Upsell and GO Tracking: Whatsapp updates both aim to improve the post-purchase experience, but they address entirely different pain points. AE focuses on empowering customers with self-service order editing capabilities, reducing cancellations, and increasing AOV through upsells. It targets merchants looking to give customers more control over their orders and streamline internal processes through features like address validation, smart cancellations, and Shopify Flow integration. In contrast, GO Tracking is designed to proactively keep customers informed about their order's shipping status via WhatsApp, aiming to reduce 'Where Is My Order' (WISMO) inquiries and improve customer satisfaction with automated updates. AE's strength lies in its comprehensive order management features directly impacting revenue retention and growth. GO Tracking specializes in communication, leveraging WhatsApp for efficient and cost-effective delivery of shipping notifications. Therefore, AE is best suited for merchants needing flexible order management, while GO Tracking serves merchants prioritizing proactive shipping updates and reduced support workload related to order tracking.
