Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants battling order cancellations and aiming to boost average order value (AOV) while providing customers with greater control over their orders *before* fulfillment, AE: Order Editing & Upsell is the clear choice. Its focus on self-service order editing, integrated upsells, and address validation directly addresses these needs. The higher rating and larger number of reviews suggest a well-received product.
However, if a merchant's primary pain point lies in the complexity and time-consuming nature of handling returns, then Order Returns | easyReturns is the more suitable solution. Its feature set is specifically designed to automate and streamline the returns process, providing a branded experience for customers and simplifying operations for the merchant. While the rating is slightly lower and review count is smaller, its specialization makes it a valuable tool for managing returns effectively.
