Our Verdict
For established Shopify stores aiming to optimize the entire post-purchase experience, reduce cancellations and support tickets, and actively increase average order value through upsells, AE: Order Editing & Upsell appears to be the stronger option. Its integration with Shopify Flow allows for advanced automation.
However, if a merchant's primary concern is simply enabling easy order cancellation and reordering to reduce customer support burden, and they are comfortable taking a chance on an unproven app, T: Order Cancellable & Reorder *might* be a suitable (but risky) choice. Given the lack of reviews for T: Order Cancellable & Reorder, it is difficult to recommend it over the well-reviewed AE: Order Editing & Upsell at this time. Further research and perhaps a trial period with T: Order Cancellable & Reorder are essential before committing to it.
Common Questions

AE: Order Editing & Upsell explicitly includes post-purchase upsell offers during the edit process, designed to increase AOV. T: Order Cancellable & Reorder does not mention any features related to increasing AOV.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, T: Order Cancellable & Reorder is *likely* easier to set up and use, as it focuses on a more limited feature set (cancellation and reordering). AE: Order Editing & Upsell, with its wider range of features including address validation, upsells, and Shopify Flow integration, may require more configuration. However, this is an assumption based on feature sets; real-world ease of use may vary.
Which app is more reliable and stable?
AE: Order Editing & Upsell is *likely* more reliable and stable, as indicated by its 5/5 rating and 184 reviews. T: Order Cancellable & Reorder has a 0/5 rating and no reviews, which makes it difficult to assess its reliability and stability.
Which app offers better integration with existing Shopify workflows?
AE: Order Editing & Upsell explicitly states it integrates with Shopify Flow, allowing for automation of tasks related to order editing. It also claims 3PL integration. T: Order Cancellable & Reorder only mentions SMTP support for email notifications, offering less workflow integration.
Which app provides better customer support?
Neither description explicitly mentions the quality of their customer support. However, the large number of positive reviews for AE: Order Editing & Upsell *suggests* a better overall customer experience, which may include better support. The lack of reviews for T: Order Cancellable & Reorder makes it impossible to assess the quality of their customer support.
