AE: Order Editing & Upsell vs Tracktor Order Trackingfor Shopify (2026)
AE: Order Editing & Upsell and Tracktor Order Tracking are both Shopify apps focused on enhancing the post-purchase experience, but they address fundamentally different needs. AE: Order Editing & Upsell positions itself as a tool for reducing cancellations and support tickets by enabling self-service order edits and post-purchase upsells directly on the order status page. It caters to merchants looking to improve customer satisfaction and increase AOV by giving customers more control over their orders and offering targeted upsell opportunities. Tracktor Order Tracking, on the other hand (based on provided information of only name, rating, and reviews), focuses solely on order tracking. While this is essential for customer satisfaction, it doesn't offer the proactive order management features of AE: Order Editing & Upsell. A key differentiator is that AE: Order Editing & Upsell actively allows customers to change their orders, addressing potential issues before they escalate into cancellations or returns, something Tracktor, in the absence of more information, doesn't appear to do. AE: Order Editing & Upsell also integrates with Shopify Flow, enabling automated workflows.
