Our Verdict
ReferrLy, with its significantly higher number of positive reviews, seems like the safer bet for most merchants looking for a well-established and trusted affiliate marketing solution. Its emphasis on influencer and ambassador marketing, along with features like custom commission rules and marketing asset sharing, makes it particularly suitable for businesses actively building relationships with influencers. Affiliate Marketing - Afflr might be a better fit for smaller merchants or those seeking maximum flexibility in reward options and closer Klaviyo integration. However, the limited number of reviews makes it difficult to ascertain its reliability compared to ReferrLy.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
While both apps claim ease of use, Afflr emphasizes its quick launch capabilities, suggesting it might have a simpler initial setup. However, ReferrLy's mature rating and high number of reviews might indicate a more streamlined and intuitive long-term experience, despite its potentially more advanced features.
Which app offers more robust fraud protection?
Afflr explicitly mentions built-in fraud protection, whereas ReferrLy does not highlight this feature directly. Therefore, if fraud prevention is a top priority, Afflr may be a better choice.
Which app is better for rewarding affiliates with diverse options beyond cash?
Afflr stands out with its claim of offering 700+ reward options, including store credits, discount codes, and PayPal. ReferrLy's focus appears to be primarily on commission-based rewards.
Which app is best for larger businesses with complex commission structures?
ReferrLy's feature to 'Set Commission rules by affiliates, products, collections & achievements & more' indicates it is better suited for businesses with more complex commission requirements and a need for granular control.
Which app is the better value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to definitively say. However, consider the long-term value. A slightly more expensive app with better support, features that suit your specific business needs, and a great user experience may provide superior ROI. Also, consider potential limitations with either system in the long-term.
