Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy vs Affiliate Marketing Short Linkfor Shopify (2026)
Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy and Affiliate Marketing Short Link both aim to provide Shopify merchants with tools to manage affiliate programs, but they cater to different segments. ReferrLy, with its significantly higher number of reviews (786) and perfect 5-star rating, positions itself as an all-in-one, easy-to-use solution with a focus on seamless onboarding and post-purchase affiliate recruitment via pop-ups. Its feature set suggests a broader appeal, targeting merchants looking for comprehensive affiliate management capabilities. Affiliate Marketing Short Link, on the other hand, emphasizes trackable short links and ROI tracking for influencer campaigns. Its lower review count (18) and slightly lower rating (4.7/5) may indicate it's a newer entrant or targets a more niche audience focused on precise attribution. The explicit mention of short links points to a strength in managing influencer marketing campaigns where link tracking is paramount. This app appears better suited for merchants who heavily rely on influencers and prioritize detailed performance insights from short URLs. The key difference lies in the breadth of features and the focus. ReferrLy aims for comprehensive affiliate program management, from onboarding to post-purchase recruitment, while Affiliate Marketing Short Link zooms in on trackable links and ROI tracking, particularly useful for influencer-driven sales.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants looking for a user-friendly, all-in-one affiliate program management solution with automated onboarding and post-purchase recruitment capabilities, Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy is the stronger choice. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a well-established and reliable platform.
However, merchants who are heavily invested in influencer marketing and require detailed tracking of campaign performance via short links may find Affiliate Marketing Short Link more suitable, despite its lower review count. The focus on ROI tracking and precise attribution caters to a more data-driven approach to influencer marketing. Merchants who require more in-depth short link ROI tracking for their affiliate efforts should choose Affiliate Marketing Short Link.
