Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy vs BL External Links Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy and BL External Links Button both target Shopify merchants, but their functionalities and target audiences are vastly different. ReferrLy is a comprehensive affiliate program and referral marketing tool designed to help merchants build and manage their own affiliate programs, leveraging influencers and ambassadors to drive sales. It offers a wide range of features to automate affiliate onboarding, commission management, and performance tracking. BL External Links Button, on the other hand, is much simpler and its functionality is not apparent from the limited data provided. Without a detailed description of its features, it's difficult to assess its value proposition, but with a rating of 5/5 based on nine reviews, it likely fulfills a specific niche need effectively. The primary difference lies in their scope. ReferrLy aims to be an all-in-one solution for affiliate marketing, encompassing everything from affiliate recruitment to performance analysis. It is suited for merchants who want to actively manage and scale their affiliate programs. The extremely limited description of BL External Links Button makes it impossible to assess beyond the fact that it likely performs a far simpler task. Given the category it is listed under (Affiliate programs), it may involve linking to external affiliate programs or resources, but that is speculative without more information. In 2026, merchants will expect robust affiliate program management features. ReferrLy seems positioned to deliver this based on its description. The lack of detail for BL External Links Button makes it hard to determine its function, so direct comparison is difficult. A merchant deciding which of these to use would have to investigate BL External Links Button to understand it's function.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive and feature-rich solution to manage their own affiliate programs, Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy appears to be the superior choice. Its extensive features and high review count suggest it's a well-regarded option for actively building and scaling an affiliate network. The post purchase popup feature specifically is useful for driving affiliate adoption by existing customers.
BL External Links Button, on the other hand, is an unknown quantity. Its lack of a detailed description makes it impossible to determine its specific use case. Without more information, it's difficult to recommend it for any particular purpose. If its purpose is indeed just a button that links externally, it would only be useful for the extremely specific merchant who needs that functionality.
