Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy vs BusinessLeague: Sales Growthfor Shopify (2026)
Both Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy and BusinessLeague: Sales Growth aim to increase sales through affiliate marketing on Shopify, but they cater to different merchant needs. Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy offers a comprehensive in-house affiliate program solution, empowering merchants to manage their own network of ambassadors and influencers with tools for onboarding, commission setting, and performance tracking. It appears designed for merchants who want direct control and customization over their affiliate program. On the other hand, BusinessLeague: Sales Growth connects merchants with external marketers who invest their own budget to drive sales. It provides access to a network of affiliates and leverages data to match merchants with the right partners. The primary difference lies in the approach. ReferrLy offers tools to *build* and manage your *own* affiliate program, while BusinessLeague connects you with an *existing* network of marketers. ReferrLy's strength is in its feature-rich platform that allows merchants to fully customize and control their affiliate programs, including commission structures and affiliate onboarding. BusinessLeague's strength is its curated network of expert marketers, offering a hands-off approach to affiliate marketing where merchants only pay commissions on sales.

Our Verdict
For merchants who want full control and customization over their affiliate program, including onboarding, commission structures, and marketing materials, Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy is the stronger choice. Its rich feature set empowers merchants to build and manage their own internal affiliate network effectively. The high number of reviews suggests it's a well-established and trusted solution.
However, for merchants who prefer a more hands-off approach and want access to an existing network of experienced marketers willing to invest their own funds, BusinessLeague: Sales Growth is a better fit. While it has fewer reviews, its value proposition of paying only on sales and leveraging expert marketers is compelling for those who want a risk-free way to grow their sales. BusinessLeague would be preferable for those who don't have time or resources to manage an affiliate program directly.
