Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy vs Growi: Creator Managementfor Shopify (2026)
Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy and Growi: Creator Management both aim to help Shopify merchants leverage external partnerships to drive sales, but they approach the problem with slightly different angles. Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy focuses primarily on affiliate and referral programs, offering tools to onboard affiliates, track sales via referral links and coupon codes, and provide affiliates with performance dashboards. It emphasizes ease of use and quickly setting up a program targeted toward influencers and ambassadors. Growi, on the other hand, positions itself as a broader 'creator management' platform. It includes more comprehensive tools for onboarding creators, tracking content and campaigns, managing payouts, and handling creator contracts. Growi targets larger or more complex creator programs by providing features like content tracking and contract management not mentioned in Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy. While ReferrLy highlights seamless affiliate onboarding and post-purchase pop-ups for recruitment, Growi emphasizes automating payouts and handling taxes. The core difference lies in the breadth of features – ReferrLy is a focused affiliate/referral program tool, whereas Growi aims to manage the entire creator relationship lifecycle, including aspects beyond simple affiliate marketing.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants just starting with affiliate marketing and wanting a simple, user-friendly way to launch a program, Affiliate Marketing ReferrLy seems like the better choice, supported by a high rating and substantial number of reviews. Its focus on referral links and coupon codes makes it ideal for basic affiliate setups. However, for merchants with larger, more complex creator programs that require robust content tracking, contract management, and automated payouts, Growi: Creator Management is the more suitable option, despite the lack of reviews. The feature set clearly caters to managing a more comprehensive creator partnership. The absence of user reviews for Growi should be taken into consideration. Merchants considering Growi should conduct thorough research or consider a trial period to evaluate its effectiveness.
