Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants who need deep customization and want to track affiliates using a variety of methods (link, coupon, SKU, etc.) and value hands-on support, Affiliatly Affiliate Marketing is a strong choice. Its customizable commission structure and support for custom requirements make it well-suited for businesses with specific needs. However, for merchants prioritizing automation, especially in recruiting and managing a larger network of influencers and affiliates, BUZZ Affiliate Marketing's automation of repetitive tasks, flexible payout options, and Klaviyo integration make it a more compelling option. BUZZ is particularly well-suited for businesses scaling their influencer marketing efforts.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Affiliatly claims simple setup with no coding required, suggesting ease of use. BUZZ doesn't explicitly state ease of setup but emphasizes automation, implying a potentially more complex initial setup offset by long-term automation benefits.
Which app is better for managing a small affiliate program?
Both could work, but Affiliatly's focus on granular control and customized commission structures might be preferable for smaller programs where individual affiliate relationships are more important.
Which app is better for a large influencer program?
BUZZ Affiliate Marketing appears better suited due to its focus on influencer recruitment, automated communication, and flexible payout options designed to handle a larger network.
Which app provides more detailed affiliate tracking?
Affiliatly seems to offer more diverse tracking methods (link/QR, coupon, email, SKU, customer/order tags) for granular control over attribution. BUZZ emphasizes automated tracking, likely streamlining the process but potentially sacrificing some granularity.
Which app has better support?
Both apps highlight strong support. Affiliatly mentions custom implementation, while BUZZ highlights 24/7 expert support, making the best choice depend on the merchant's specific support needs (customization vs. always-available assistance).
