Our Verdict
For merchants aiming to establish a structured affiliate program with diverse tracking methods and customizable commissions to drive sales, Affiliatly Affiliate Marketing is the more suitable choice. It provides the tools needed for managing affiliates, monitoring their performance, and optimizing the program for revenue generation. On the other hand, if the primary goal is to efficiently manage influencer marketing campaigns by automating product seeding, collecting shipping details, and tracking fulfillment, IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form offers a specialized solution that saves time and effort. Businesses investing heavily in influencer collaborations will likely find IGF more valuable, while those seeking a broader affiliate-driven sales strategy should lean towards Affiliatly.
Common Questions
Does Affiliatly Affiliate Marketing offer features for influencer gifting, like IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form?
While Affiliatly enables tracking via various methods, including coupons, it doesn't specifically focus on automating the shipping address collection and consent aspects central to influencer gifting as efficiently as IGF.
Is IGF ‑ Influencer Gift Form suitable for creating a general affiliate marketing program?
No, IGF is designed specifically for influencer gifting and product seeding, not for managing a broad affiliate network with varying commission structures and performance tracking metrics. It automates free product distribution, whereas an affiliate program manages paid commissions and performance incentives.
Which app is easier to set up for a merchant with no technical skills?
Both apps claim ease of use. Affiliatly emphasizes its seamless integration without coding needed. IGF focuses on providing a checkout link, potentially simplifying the process for influencers. Ultimately, ease of use is subjective and depends on the merchant's comfort level with affiliate programs or influencer collaborations.
How do the ratings compare between Affiliatly and IGF?
IGF boasts a perfect 5/5 rating, while Affiliatly has a 4.2/5 rating. However, IGF has fewer reviews (43) compared to Affiliatly (63), indicating a potentially smaller user base. A higher rating with fewer reviews can be less reliable than a slightly lower rating with more reviews.
Do either of these apps integrate with other marketing tools?
The descriptions of both apps do not specifically mention integrations with other marketing tools besides Shopify itself. Affiliatly mentions '3rd-party tracking,' suggesting it might integrate with analytics platforms, but specific tools are not detailed.
