Our Verdict
The choice between Affilitrak and Recurpay hinges entirely on your business model. If you're seeking to expand your reach and sales through affiliate marketing, Affilitrak appears to be a user-friendly option, particularly suited for smaller businesses starting their affiliate programs. However, the very low number of reviews is a potential risk factor.
Conversely, if you're selling subscription-based products or services, Recurpay is the clear choice. Its robust features, strong focus on subscription management, and readily available 24/7 support make it a more reliable solution for handling recurring revenue streams, especially given the much higher number of reviews indicating wider user adoption and established reliability.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a brand new Shopify store?
It depends on your sales strategy. If you're launching with a subscription model, Recurpay is better. If you plan to rely heavily on affiliate sales out of the gate, Affilitrak could be considered, but the lack of reviews makes it a riskier bet.
Does Affilitrak offer customer support?
While not explicitly stated, standard customer support is assumed. Recurpay explicitly mentions 24/7 live human support, a clear advantage for merchants prioritizing immediate assistance.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
Potentially, but their functionalities are largely independent. You *could* have affiliates promoting subscription-based products managed by Recurpay, but this would require careful integration and management, and likely introduce complexity.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps claim to be easy to use. Affilitrak boasts being simple to learn, while Recurpay emphasizes a quick and easy setup. Given Recurpay's larger user base, its ease of setup might be more validated.
Which app has more features for advanced users?
Recurpay likely has more advanced features for its specific domain. Its developer-friendly API access suggests it's more customizable and caters to merchants with complex subscription requirements, whereas Affilitrak appears simpler.
