Our Verdict
Choosing between AfterShip Order Tracking and SellerDash: AusPost Shipping depends heavily on your business needs and location. If your primary concern is managing the post-purchase experience, providing accurate tracking information, and reducing customer inquiries across a wide range of carriers, AfterShip Order Tracking is the clear winner. Its AI-powered EDD and comprehensive analytics are valuable assets. However, if your business operates primarily in Australia and relies heavily on Australia Post's MyPost Business or eParcel services, SellerDash is the more efficient solution. Its focus on streamlining label creation, generating invoices, and fulfilling orders within the Australia Post ecosystem will save you significant time and effort.
Common Questions
Can AfterShip print shipping labels like SellerDash?
No, AfterShip primarily focuses on order tracking and notifications, not shipping label generation.
Does SellerDash provide tracking updates to customers?
SellerDash uploads tracking numbers to Shopify, but its core functionality is not proactive customer notifications like AfterShip. You'd need another app or Shopify's built-in features for that.
Is AfterShip suitable for a small business shipping only within Australia?
While AfterShip is a powerful tool, a small business shipping only within Australia might find it overkill. SellerDash offers a more tailored and potentially more cost-effective solution for this specific scenario if using AusPost is their primary delivery method.
Does SellerDash offer analytics on shipping performance?
SellerDash provides live rates in the dashboard, but it doesn't offer the same level of in-depth shipping performance analytics as AfterShip.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, you could use both apps. SellerDash for streamlining Australia Post label printing and fulfillment, and AfterShip for providing enhanced tracking and notifications to your customers, regardless of carrier. However, cost and potential feature overlap should be carefully considered.
