AfterShip Traffic & Ads and Simple Affiliate represent fundamentally different approaches to driving sales on Shopify. AfterShip focuses on an ad exchange network, enabling merchants to swap traffic with similarly themed stores. This is positioned as a cost-effective method for acquiring new customers through targeted advertising on partner sites. Simple Affiliate, conversely, provides a comprehensive affiliate marketing platform, allowing merchants to create and manage their own affiliate programs, incentivizing external promotion through commissions. While both aim to increase traffic and sales, their mechanisms and target users differ significantly.
