Our Verdict
For merchants seeking comprehensive checkout customization, AI-powered features, and fraud protection, AI Checkout Extensions Pro :MT appears to be the stronger choice, *if* you can overlook the low review count. It's a more complex tool, suited for shops comfortable using Shopify's Checkout Extensibility. However, given the low review count, proceed with caution. For stores prioritizing a simple, effective upsell and cross-sell solution with a proven track record (demonstrated by the large number of positive reviews), Essential Upsell & Cross Sell is the more reliable and generally better option. It's easier to implement and focuses solely on boosting AOV through product suggestions.
