AI Virtual Try‑On by EdgeCloud vs Drezzly ‑ Virtual Try Onfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, merchants choosing between AI Virtual Try‑On by EdgeCloud and Drezzly ‑ Virtual Try On face a decision between a seemingly more established AI-driven solution (EdgeCloud) and a simpler, potentially easier-to-implement option (Drezzly). AI Virtual Try‑On leverages 'advanced AI technology on Theta EdgeCloud' to automatically adjust clothing fit to a user's body proportions after they upload a selfie, aiming for a high-fidelity virtual try-on experience. Drezzly, conversely, focuses on quick implementation and broad availability, allowing customers to upload photos and 'instantly try on products right on your store’s product pages', regardless of the specific product page viewed, emphasizing increased buyer confidence and reduced returns. EdgeCloud highlights 'AI Fit Alignment' and 'Mobile-Friendly' usability, while Drezzly emphasizes easy usability ('no technical setup needed'). The core difference lies in the sophistication of the virtual try-on. EdgeCloud aims for precise fit using AI, potentially appealing to merchants selling higher-end clothing where accurate representation is crucial. Drezzly prioritizes accessibility and ease of integration, potentially better suited for merchants selling a wider range of products where a quick visual is sufficient. The 'AI Fit Alignment' feature of EdgeCloud is a significant differentiator if accurate fit is a primary selling point. However, the complete lack of ratings and reviews for Drezzly makes it difficult to assess its real-world performance and reliability compared to EdgeCloud, which at least has positive, albeit limited, feedback.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a sophisticated virtual try-on experience with AI-powered fit alignment, and who are comfortable with potentially more complex implementation, AI Virtual Try‑On by EdgeCloud appears to be the better choice, especially given its positive early reviews. However, the low number of reviews warrants caution and further investigation. For merchants prioritizing ease of use, quick implementation, and a broad virtual try-on capability across all product pages without specific AI-powered fit, Drezzly ‑ Virtual Try On is an option, but the complete absence of reviews makes it a riskier choice. Given the lack of feedback on Drezzly, merchants should consider a trial period, if available, to assess its functionality and reliability.
If fit accuracy is paramount and the product line justifies the more advanced AI implementation, AI Virtual Try‑On by EdgeCloud is preferable. If the goal is simply to offer a basic virtual try-on feature with minimal setup, and the merchant is willing to be an early adopter of a product with no current validation, Drezzly is worth considering, provided thorough testing is conducted.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, Drezzly is advertised as having easier setup ('no technical setup needed') compared to AI Virtual Try‑On by EdgeCloud, which implies integration with Theta EdgeCloud.
Which app provides a more accurate virtual try-on?
AI Virtual Try‑On by EdgeCloud is designed to offer more accurate results using AI Fit Alignment. Drezzly's method of simply overlaying an image is unlikely to be as accurate.
Which app is better for reducing returns?
Both apps claim to reduce returns. Drezzly directly highlights this benefit, while AI Virtual Try‑On implies it through 'improved sales by offering a seamless, personalized shopping experience'. The effectiveness of each app will likely depend on the specific product line and how accurately the virtual try-on reflects the real-world fit and appearance.
Which app is more suitable for high-end clothing?
AI Virtual Try‑On by EdgeCloud, with its focus on AI-powered fit and alignment, is likely better suited for high-end clothing where accurate representation of fit is crucial.
Which app is a safer choice given the available data?
AI Virtual Try‑On by EdgeCloud is the safer choice, despite having only three reviews. The presence of any positive reviews is preferable to Drezzly's complete lack of validation. Merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test either app before committing to a long-term subscription.
