Common Questions
Which app is better for merchants on a tight budget?
Lightbox is designed to replace the need for professional photoshoots, potentially leading to significant cost savings in the long run. AIBrush focuses on streamlining existing image editing workflows rather than replacing them entirely.
Can I use these apps to create images for social media marketing?
While both apps enhance product images, Lightbox, with its ability to generate completely new visuals, may be more versatile for creating diverse content for social media. AIBrush excels at making existing product photos presentable.
Which app is easier to use?
Both apps claim one-click functionality, suggesting ease of use. AIBrush's single-click bulk background removal likely makes it exceptionally straightforward for its specific purpose. Lightbox integrates directly within the Shopify admin, which can streamline the image generation process.
Which app offers more control over the final image?
The descriptions do not detail the amount of control offered by either app. Lightbox's 'advanced AI that learns from existing images' suggests some level of customization based on your brand's existing style. AIBrush does mention the ability to revert to original images, implying at least undo functionality.
What if I need to remove backgrounds *and* generate new product photos?
These apps solve different problems. You could potentially use both apps in conjunction: AIBrush to remove the background of an existing image and then Lightbox to generate a new image incorporating that background-removed object. Alternatively, exploring other AI image editing apps with broader capabilities might be beneficial.
