Aide AI Support Automation vs Relocate+ Order Editorfor Shopify (2026)
Aide AI Support Automation and Relocate+ Order Editor both aim to improve customer support for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from drastically different angles. Aide focuses on automating support workflows using AI, encompassing question answering, order tracking, returns, and agent assistance. It positions itself as a comprehensive AI-powered support solution. Relocate+, on the other hand, emphasizes self-service order editing, empowering customers to modify their orders (addresses, products, etc.) directly, thereby reducing support inquiries and returns. It leverages customizable rules to control the editing process and integrate with relevant platforms. Aide's strength lies in its AI capabilities and broader scope, potentially handling a wider variety of support tasks. Relocate+'s strength lies in its targeted approach to order editing, giving customers more control and freeing up support agents. Aide seems geared towards merchants seeking a more automated and AI-driven support system, while Relocate+ caters to businesses wanting to empower customers and reduce order-related support tickets through self-service. The extremely limited number of reviews for Aide at the time of this comparison raises concerns about its long-term performance and stability compared to Relocate+, which has significantly more reviews.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with high volumes of repetitive support inquiries and looking for an AI-driven solution to handle various customer issues, Aide AI Support Automation seems promising, but the extremely low number of reviews makes it a risky choice. Businesses facing many order-related support requests and wanting to empower customers to self-manage their orders will find Relocate+ Order Editor a more mature and focused solution. It offers specific functionality for addressing common order modification needs and has a larger pool of user feedback to support its claims. Therefore, while Aide may be attractive for its AI capabilities, Relocate+ currently appears as the more reliable and practical option for addressing order-related support issues.
Common Questions
Which app is better for handling a wide range of customer support inquiries?
Aide AI Support Automation, with its focus on AI-driven automation and knowledge-based question answering, is theoretically better equipped to handle a broader range of customer support inquiries. However, the limited number of reviews provides insufficient evidence to definitively conclude this.
Which app is better for reducing the number of support tickets related to order changes?
Relocate+ Order Editor is specifically designed to reduce order-related support tickets by enabling customers to self-serve order editing. Its rule-based system puts control in the hands of the customer while still giving the merchant the ability to set the rules.
Does Aide integrate with platforms like ShipStation or Recharge?
The provided information doesn't explicitly state integrations with ShipStation or Recharge for Aide. It mentions CRM and API integrations for reading data or performing actions.
Which app requires more initial setup and configuration?
Aide likely requires more initial setup and configuration due to the need to train the AI and define automated workflows. Relocate+ requires setting up rules for order editing, which could also be complex, but the overall AI component of Aide suggests a higher learning curve.
Which app is more likely to scale with a growing business?
Both apps seem scalable, but Aide, with its multi-store support, might offer slightly better scalability for businesses managing multiple brands. However, Relocate+ integrates with ShipStation which is a popular scaling tool.
