Aidify ‑ AI Customer Support vs Herodeskfor Shopify (2026)
Aidify ‑ AI Customer Support and Herodesk both aim to improve customer service for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from different angles. Aidify positions itself as an AI-powered agent that fully automates customer support across multiple channels, including chat, email, and WhatsApp, in 95 languages. Its core strength lies in its immediate availability, automated training from existing content, and multilingual capabilities, targeting merchants who want a hands-off solution to 24/7 support. Furthermore, its integration with Judge.me highlights a focus on boosting sales conversions through review management. Herodesk, on the other hand, focuses on providing a simple and affordable helpdesk and live-chat tool that integrates with Shopify to centralize customer support. Its strengths include its ease of use, Shopify integration for accessing customer and order details, and ability to manage conversations across different channels like Live-chat, Facebook Messenger & Instagram. It caters to small and mid-sized e-commerce businesses seeking to regain control over their customer service and ensure no query goes unanswered. Essentially, Aidify offers AI-driven automation, while Herodesk provides a centralized platform for human-led support. The review numbers are very low for both apps, suggesting they are newer or niche, and further investigation into user experience beyond the surface is suggested.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing hands-off, 24/7 multilingual support and automated upselling, Aidify ‑ AI Customer Support appears to be the better choice, assuming the AI performs as advertised. Its Judge.me integration also makes it suitable for stores heavily relying on customer reviews. However, merchants who prefer a more hands-on approach and want to centralize customer support management within a simpler, Shopify-integrated helpdesk system will likely find Herodesk more suitable. Herodesk enables a dedicated team to efficiently handle customer queries.
Given the extremely low review count for both apps, it is crucial to conduct thorough research, including searching for independent reviews and potentially testing each app's free trial (if available), before making a final decision. The limited data makes it difficult to definitively recommend one over the other without further information on user experience, support responsiveness, and AI accuracy.
