Our Verdict
Aimerce First-Party Pixel is the safer bet for Shopify merchants generally looking to improve their ad tracking capabilities with first-party data. Its perfect rating and multiple reviews indicate a reliable and user-friendly experience. TradeTracker Connect is only suitable for merchants actively participating in the TradeTracker affiliate network. If a merchant doesn't use TradeTracker, this app offers no value. If they do, it streamlines affiliate management with automated product feeds and attribution modeling. Given the lack of reviews, those considering TradeTracker Connect should proceed with caution and perhaps explore other affiliate management solutions first.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps advertise automatic conversion pixel installation, suggesting similar ease of setup. However, Aimerce's positive reviews provide more confidence in the process.
Which app offers more advanced attribution features?
TradeTracker Connect explicitly mentions a multi-touch attribution model, which is more advanced than the general tracking capabilities implied by Aimerce First-Party Pixel.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Potentially, but this could lead to data redundancy or conflicts. Merchants should evaluate whether the benefits of using both outweigh the risks and complexity.
What happens if I don't use the TradeTracker network but install TradeTracker Connect?
TradeTracker Connect is designed specifically for the TradeTracker network. Without participation in that network, the app provides no value and will likely be non-functional.
Is Aimerce limited to one specific advertising platform, such as Google or Facebook?
Aimerce's 'First-Party Pixel' name suggests a general tracking solution applicable across various advertising platforms, not limited to a specific one.
