AirLock ‑ GeoShield & IP Block vs AutoAds ‑ Prevent Click Fraudfor Shopify (2026)
AirLock ‑ GeoShield & IP Block and AutoAds ‑ Prevent Click Fraud both target fraud prevention for Shopify stores, but address very different aspects. AirLock focuses on blocking unwanted visitors based on IP address or country, aiming to protect the entire store from unwanted access. Its strength lies in its broad-based protection, offering control over who can access your site and what they see. It appears targeted towards merchants concerned about security and potentially those dealing with international traffic issues or specific IP threats. The demo store indicates ease of exploration before commitment. In contrast, AutoAds ‑ Prevent Click Fraud is specifically designed to optimize advertising campaigns by preventing click fraud from competitors and bots on platforms like Google Ads. Its primary focus is on saving advertising budget and improving campaign performance. AutoAds is geared towards merchants actively running paid advertising campaigns who are looking to eliminate fraudulent clicks and gain insights into their ad performance. The lack of reviews, however, raises concerns about its reliability and effectiveness compared to AirLock, which, while having few reviews, has a perfect score.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned about general store security and controlling access based on IP or country, AirLock ‑ GeoShield & IP Block is the more appropriate choice. The perfect rating (even with limited reviews) and the Shopify Plus Checkout UI blocking feature suggest a higher level of functionality and trust. The demo store further allows potential users to assess its capabilities firsthand.
AutoAds ‑ Prevent Click Fraud is better suited for merchants heavily reliant on paid advertising and actively battling click fraud. However, the complete lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice. Unless concrete evidence of its effectiveness emerges, it's difficult to recommend over AirLock given the available data.
