AirLock ‑ GeoShield & IP Block vs Deliverlitics: Stop Scammersfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, both AirLock ‑ GeoShield & IP Block and Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers present themselves as valuable fraud prevention tools for Shopify merchants. However, they tackle the problem from different angles. AirLock focuses on blocking unwanted visitors based on IP address and geographic location, providing merchants with direct control over who can access their store. This is a preventative, broad-stroke approach designed to mitigate risks from specific regions or known malicious IPs. AirLock also seems to cater specifically to Shopify Plus merchants with features like Checkout UI Blocking. Deliverlitics, conversely, concentrates on identifying and preventing delivery scams and "friendly fraud" by analyzing merchant-side data such as returns and support requests. This AI-powered approach is more reactive and data-driven, targeting specific fraudulent orders rather than broad swathes of traffic. It aims to catch subtle patterns of fraudulent behavior that might be missed by traditional fraud filters, and is therefore targeted towards merchants with frequent delivery issues. Deliverlitics offers automated actions based on risk level. Both apps boast perfect 5/5 ratings, but Deliverlitics has nearly double the number of reviews, lending slightly more credence to its rating. Choosing between them hinges on a merchant's specific needs and fraud landscape. AirLock offers proactive, location-based control, while Deliverlitics provides AI-powered analysis to combat delivery-related scams.
