Alarmify ‑ Inventory Alarm vs Preorder, Back In Stock ‑ STOQfor Shopify (2026)
Alarmify - Inventory Alarm and Preorder, Back In Stock - STOQ both aim to recover lost sales due to out-of-stock products, but they cater to different merchant needs. Alarmify focuses solely on back-in-stock email notifications, emphasizing data privacy, ease of use, and high delivery rates. Its key strengths lie in its GDPR/CCPA compliance, European servers, customizable templates, and a CDN-served widget with no cookies or trackers. Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing data privacy, ease of use, and a straightforward back-in-stock notification system, Alarmify - Inventory Alarm is the better choice. Its European server location and focus on GDPR/CCPA compliance provide added assurance. The low review count, however, means it's a relatively new app and may lack some of the stability and extensive testing of more established apps.
Preorder, Back In Stock - STOQ is more suitable for merchants looking for a comprehensive solution that encompasses pre-orders, backorders, and back-in-stock alerts. The integration with Klaviyo and support for multiple locations and markets make it ideal for larger or more complex businesses. While it doesn't explicitly highlight privacy measures, its large user base suggests a proven track record and feature-rich environment.
