Our Verdict
For merchants facing regular stockouts and aiming to directly recapture lost sales, Alert Me! Restock Alerts is the clear choice. Its hands-free automation and real-time notifications directly address the need to inform customers when desired products are back in stock. It's a straightforward, practical solution focused on revenue recovery.
Conversely, if a merchant prioritizes building trust, showcasing social impact, and subtly influencing purchasing decisions through visible metrics, Sales CountUp is more suitable. While it doesn't directly address stockouts, it provides a marketing tool to highlight positive aspects of the business, potentially increasing conversions. However, the higher rating for Sales CountUp combined with a much lower number of reviews suggests caution and thorough testing might be wise to ensure it functions as expected within a specific Shopify store.
