Alerty: Alerts for Google Chat vs Order Management — Trackeasyfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Alerty: Alerts for Google Chat and Order Management — Trackeasy target very different Shopify merchant needs, although both fall under the 'Staff notifications' category. Alerty focuses on providing real-time order and abandoned cart notifications directly within Google Chat, ideal for merchants who actively use Google's communication platform and want immediate awareness of sales activity. It emphasizes ease of setup and the ability to distribute notifications across multiple Google Chat spaces, catering to merchants with distributed teams or multiple stores. Order Management — Trackeasy, in contrast, is designed for a more complex operational environment. It addresses the challenges of order tracking from preparation to delivery, aiming to streamline workflows within restaurants, warehouses, or delivery services. Its strengths lie in providing real-time status updates across various devices, setting alarms for new orders, managing multiple order stages, and offering product-wise preparation reports, positioning it as a solution for merchants needing detailed control and visibility over their order fulfillment processes. The primary difference lies in their core functionality: Alerty provides immediate alerts via Google Chat, while Order Management offers comprehensive order lifecycle tracking and management. The choice between the two depends heavily on the merchant's operational needs and existing workflow tools.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing immediate awareness of sales activity and heavily relying on Google Chat for team communication, Alerty: Alerts for Google Chat might be a useful (though unproven) choice, assuming the app is reliable despite its lack of reviews. It offers a simple, direct way to stay informed about new orders and abandoned carts within their existing workflow.
However, for businesses needing comprehensive order management and tracking, particularly those involved in food preparation, warehousing, or delivery, Order Management — Trackeasy is the far superior option. Its robust features and positive user reviews suggest it can significantly improve operational efficiency and reduce errors. While Alerty could supplement Trackeasy with sales alerts, Trackeasy offers a far more complete solution for order fulfillment.

No, Alerty only offers order and abandoned cart notifications. It does not track the preparation or fulfillment process.
Can Order Management – Trackeasy send notifications to Google Chat?
The description does not explicitly mention Google Chat integration. It's possible, but not a primary feature. Its notification system likely revolves around alarms and on-screen updates within the application itself.
