AliExpress Reviews Importer vs Better Blog Commentsfor Shopify (2026)
AliExpress Reviews Importer and Better Blog Comments are two Shopify apps serving distinct purposes, making a direct comparison somewhat nuanced despite existing in the same broad categories. AliExpress Reviews Importer focuses on enhancing product credibility by importing reviews from AliExpress and exporting them to CSV format for use in other apps. Its primary strength lies in rapidly populating review sections, although the very low review count raises concerns about reliability and real-world performance. Better Blog Comments, conversely, concentrates on fostering community and engagement through improved blog commenting features. Its advantages are its spam protection, threaded replies, email notifications, and star rating features. While the review count is still low, it is notably higher than AliExpress Reviews Importer, and the app's function centers on building a loyal customer base around content and conversation. It specifically caters to merchants seeking to improve blog content interaction.

Our Verdict
Choosing between AliExpress Reviews Importer and Better Blog Comments hinges entirely on your store's needs. If the primary goal is to quickly add reviews to product pages, especially for products sourced from AliExpress, then AliExpress Reviews Importer might seem attractive at first glance. However, the extremely low number of reviews suggests that the app is very new or has issues. Therefore, proceed with caution and scrutinize its functionality. Alternatively, look for a review app that handles AliExpress imports and has a decent reputation and substantial number of reviews.
On the other hand, if you have a content-rich blog and want to build a strong community around it, then Better Blog Comments is the superior choice. Its features directly address engagement and moderation, helping to turn readers into loyal customers. Although the review count is still somewhat low, it indicates a degree of usage and provides valuable capabilities for stores focused on content marketing and community building.
