Our Verdict
For a new Shopify store, particularly those dropshipping from AliExpress, AliExpress Reviews Importer can be a quick way to populate product pages with some initial reviews. This helps to increase initial credibility and can drive early sales. However, the reviews are not authentic, which could pose an ethical issue for some merchants.
Reviews Junction is more suited for established brands looking to build genuine trust and leverage customer testimonials to boost sales and improve the user experience. While requiring more effort to set up and manage, Reviews Junction offers a long-term strategy for gathering high-quality, user-generated content that fosters customer loyalty and credibility. If your goal is to create a reliable, customer-driven review system, Reviews Junction is the better choice.
