Our Verdict
AliReviews: AliExpress Reviews is the clear choice for merchants whose primary goal is to quickly populate their store with reviews from AliExpress. Its simplicity and focus make it ideal for dropshippers. However, for established businesses aiming to build trust through genuine customer feedback and enhance the user experience, Rapid Reviews offers a more robust and feature-rich solution. Its emphasis on page speed, extensive customization options, and advanced features like Q&A and deep search make it a worthwhile investment despite the potential complexities of native review collection.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up initially?
AliReviews is likely easier to set up initially because it automates the process of importing reviews from AliExpress. Rapid Reviews requires more configuration to customize review requests and set up the review display.
Which app is better for SEO?
Rapid Reviews, with its focus on page speed and features like deep search and Q&A, likely provides more SEO benefits. Faster page speeds are a ranking factor, and user-generated content like reviews and Q&A can improve keyword coverage.
Can I use both apps together?
Using both apps simultaneously is not recommended, as they serve similar functions and could lead to conflicts or redundant features. Merchants should choose the app that best aligns with their overall strategy and technical expertise.
Which app is better for collecting photo and video reviews?
Rapid Reviews explicitly supports photo and video reviews. AliReviews functionality of importing reviews from AliExpress might include reviews with media depending on what is available there.
Which app is more likely to improve conversion rates?
Both apps can improve conversion rates by displaying social proof. However, Rapid Reviews' customizable review requests and after-review discounts may provide a more direct incentive for customers to leave reviews, potentially leading to more overall reviews and greater impact on conversions. The AMP email technology, by enabling reviews directly from emails, can also make the process easier and drive more reviews.
