Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime vs Zasilkovna • Packeta connectfor Shopify (2026)
Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime and Zasilkovna • Packeta connect are both Shopify apps in the Third-party logistics (3PL) category, but they cater to drastically different needs and geographies. Amazon MCF targets merchants already leveraging or looking to leverage Amazon's extensive fulfillment network in the US and UK, offering a way to extend Amazon's logistics capabilities to their Shopify store. Its main strength lies in using Amazon's established infrastructure for fulfillment, including Buy with Prime to boost conversion in the US, and streamlining SKU management. Zasilkovna • Packeta connect, on the other hand, focuses on providing access to a vast network of pickup points across the Czech Republic and the EU. This app is ideal for merchants targeting customers in these regions who prefer the convenience of pickup points over traditional delivery. Its strengths include ease of integration without coding, direct monitoring of payment status within the Shopify admin, and integration with various last-mile delivery partners like FoxPost and Paczkomaty. The apps have similar review counts and ratings, but fundamentally solve different problems. Amazon MCF addresses fulfillment logistics, while Zasilkovna • Packeta connect is a final-mile delivery and pickup point solution.

Our Verdict
The choice between Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime and Zasilkovna • Packeta connect depends entirely on the merchant's target market and existing infrastructure. If a merchant already utilizes or plans to use Amazon's fulfillment services (FBA) and sells primarily in the US and/or UK, Amazon MCF is the clear choice. It allows for seamless integration of Amazon's logistics capabilities with their Shopify store and provides potential conversion boosts through Buy with Prime.
However, for merchants targeting customers in the Czech Republic and the wider EU, especially those who prefer the flexibility of pickup points, Zasilkovna • Packeta connect is the superior option. It offers a simple and efficient way to integrate with a large network of pickup points, providing a convenient delivery option for customers in those regions. Attempting to use Amazon MCF in the EU when pickup point delivery is desired would be a poor strategic choice.
Common Questions
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Technically yes, but practically it's unlikely to be beneficial. They address different fulfillment needs in different geographic regions. Using both would likely create confusion and operational overhead unless you have truly distinct customer segments and fulfillment strategies for each region.
Does Amazon MCF and Buy with Prime work outside of the US and UK?
According to the app description, Amazon MCF supports order fulfillment to the US and UK, but the Buy with Prime feature is only available in the US.
Which app is easier to set up?
Zasilkovna • Packeta connect appears to be easier to set up as it explicitly states 'no setup hassle or coding needed'. Amazon MCF requires connecting to your existing Amazon inventory, which may involve more initial configuration.
Which app is cheaper?
The provided descriptions do not include any pricing information. You would need to check the Shopify App Store for the pricing models of each app, which may include monthly fees, per-transaction fees, or a combination of both.
What kind of support do these apps offer?
