Amhook vs Heureka • Trust Badgefor Shopify (2026)
Amhook and Heureka • Trust Badge serve distinct purposes for Shopify merchants in 2026. Amhook, focused on understanding and addressing customer objections prior to purchase, aims to reduce cart abandonment. Its core value proposition revolves around facilitating direct customer questions and enhancing FAQ sections to preempt potential concerns. Heureka • Trust Badge, conversely, concentrates on building social proof and trust through customer reviews collected via the Heureka platform. This app is designed to improve credibility and conversion rates by showcasing verified customer testimonials. The difference lies in their approach: Amhook proactively addresses potential issues, while Heureka leverages post-purchase validation to enhance perceived trustworthiness. Amhook targets merchants who struggle with understanding why visitors don't convert into customers. Its focus is on pre-purchase engagement. The app's description suggests it's aimed at merchants who believe inadequate product information or unanswered questions contribute to lost sales. On the other hand, Heureka • Trust Badge is specifically designed for merchants operating within the Czech or Slovak markets due to its integration with the Heureka "Overeno zakazniky" portal. Its target audience is merchants seeking to enhance their credibility within these regions by leveraging customer verification badges and reviews.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Amhook and Heureka • Trust Badge depends entirely on your business needs and target market. If you're struggling to understand why visitors aren't converting and need a solution to proactively address their questions, Amhook might be worth exploring, despite its lack of reviews. However, its French description suggests it may be optimized for French-speaking customers.
For merchants specifically targeting the Czech or Slovak markets and looking to leverage social proof through the Heureka platform, Heureka • Trust Badge is the clear choice. Its 5-star rating and existing reviews, while limited, indicate positive experiences within its target demographic. The integration with Heureka is crucial for its functionality, so businesses outside those regions will not benefit from it. Given Amhook's lack of reviews, Heureka offers a safer, more proven option if it aligns with your target market and trust-building strategies.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, Amhook *might* be simpler to set up, as it doesn't require integration with an external platform like Heureka. However, without reviews, this is speculative. Heureka requires registration and API key integration, adding complexity.
Which app is more effective for international stores?
Neither app is explicitly positioned for international stores. Amhook's description is in French, suggesting it might be focused on French-speaking customers. Heureka is heavily reliant on the Czech/Slovak Heureka platform.
Which app is better for improving conversion rates?
Both apps *aim* to improve conversion rates, but through different mechanisms. Amhook aims to reduce cart abandonment by addressing customer questions. Heureka aims to build trust and credibility through reviews and badges. The 'better' app depends on your specific business needs and the reasons for low conversion rates.
Which app provides direct customer interaction?
Amhook is designed to facilitate direct customer interaction by allowing customers to ask questions on product pages. Heureka focuses on collecting reviews *after* a purchase is made.
Should I be concerned about Amhook's lack of reviews?
Yes, a lack of reviews is a significant concern. It's impossible to gauge the app's reliability, ease of use, or effectiveness. Proceed with caution and consider reaching out to the developer directly to inquire about a trial period or more information.
