AMP: FAQ Page & Help Center HQ vs TMD FAQ Page & Product FAQfor Shopify (2026)
AMP: FAQ Page & Help Center HQ (HelpHQ) and TMD FAQ Page & Product FAQ are both Shopify apps designed to improve customer service through FAQs, but they cater to slightly different needs and offer distinct approaches. HelpHQ focuses on building a comprehensive help center with robust search capabilities and customer feedback mechanisms. It's positioned as a way to deflect customer inquiries by providing immediate answers and gathering data to improve FAQ content. TMD FAQ Page & Product FAQ, on the other hand, emphasizes product-specific FAQs displayed directly on product pages. This aims to streamline the pre-sale process by answering questions related to specific products, reducing reliance on sales team interaction. HelpHQ offers features such as insta-search, a powerful editor, customization options, seamless integration, and customer feedback collection. It appears to be more geared towards larger stores with broader knowledge bases. TMD FAQ Page & Product FAQ is simpler, offering the ability to create unlimited product FAQs, assign categories, display FAQs on a dedicated page, and brand customization through color matching. Its target audience seems to be merchants who want to address specific product questions and improve the buying experience directly on the product page. One app has user reviews (HelpHQ) while the other (TMD) has none.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing a full-fledged help center with advanced search capabilities and a focus on continual improvement through customer feedback, AMP: FAQ Page & Help Center HQ is the better choice. The higher rating and existing user reviews suggest a reliable and well-received solution. It suits businesses dealing with a high volume of diverse customer inquiries.
For merchants primarily concerned with addressing specific questions related to individual products and improving the pre-sale experience directly on product pages, TMD FAQ Page & Product FAQ is a viable option. While it currently lacks reviews, its focused approach to product FAQs might be ideal for stores with relatively simple product lines or targeted sales campaigns. However, the absence of reviews makes it a riskier choice, and merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app during any free trial period.
