AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs Apex Cart Progress Barfor Shopify (2026)
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and Apex Cart Progress Bar both aim to enhance the Shopify shopping cart experience, but they approach this goal from different angles. AMP focuses on streamlining the cart interaction with a slide-out cart drawer, which typically aims to improve the user experience and make it easier to manage the cart. Apex, on the other hand, centers on increasing the average order value by motivating customers to add more items to their cart through a progress bar incentivizing purchases with discounts, free shipping or gifts. This difference positions them for merchants with different priorities. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer, with its significantly higher number of reviews (489) and perfect 5/5 rating, suggests a well-established and consistently positive user experience focused on cart accessibility. Apex Cart Progress Bar, despite a slightly lower rating of 4.6/5 and fewer reviews (33), promises a direct impact on revenue through features like tiered discounts, free shipping, and geolocation targeting. This focus on ROI makes Apex a compelling option for merchants heavily focused on boosting sales metrics.
