AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs Ask to Buy create & share cartfor Shopify (2026)
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and Ask to Buy create & share cart both aim to enhance the cart experience, but they target very different needs. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer (with a perfect 5/5 rating from 489 reviews) likely focuses on improving the user experience of the existing cart with features such as a slide-out cart drawer for streamlined checkout. Ask to Buy create & share cart, on the other hand, is more about enabling cart sharing and collaborative shopping, evidenced by its headline and description, which emphasize letting visitors and sales reps create and share carts, facilitating purchases from teens, gift registries, and sales representative interactions. Given the stark differences in user ratings (5.0 vs 4.4) and the number of reviews (489 vs 7), AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer seems to have a much broader appeal and established presence on the Shopify app store. Ask to Buy create & share cart, despite having fewer reviews, carves out a niche with its unique cart sharing and pre-filled checkout features. This functionality isn't about the standard shopping experience but expands into sales-assisted experiences and gift-giving, and scenarios where the payer is different from the shopper. The main contrast lies in their core functions. AMP Slide Cart optimizes the existing cart for potentially higher conversions, while Ask to Buy enables cart sharing and sales team to customer scenarios.
