Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing immediate conversion rate optimization and a smoother checkout process for all customers, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is likely the better choice, given its significantly higher adoption rate. Its widespread use suggests a well-established and user-friendly experience. However, if the primary goal is to foster customer loyalty, encourage social sharing, and enable customers to save carts for later purchases, CSS: Cart Save and Share could be beneficial. The key is to assess whether the store's customer base is likely to actively use the cart saving and sharing features. A store selling high-value, considered purchases might benefit more from CSS: Cart Save and Share than a store selling inexpensive impulse buys.
