AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs EasyPay ‑ Payment Rulesfor Shopify (2026)
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and EasyPay ‑ Payment Rules both operate within the Shopify Checkout category, but cater to distinct needs. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is likely focused on enhancing the pre-checkout cart experience, potentially optimizing the cart drawer's appearance and functionality to boost conversion rates. Its high rating (5/5) and substantial review count (489) suggest strong user satisfaction and widespread adoption. This app seems to aim to improve the overall shopping experience before the actual checkout process begins. EasyPay ‑ Payment Rules, on the other hand, concentrates specifically on customizing the checkout payment options. It allows merchants to move, hide, and rename payment methods based on various criteria like cart contents, weight, total, shipping address, and tags. Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants seeking a general improvement to their cart experience and potentially boosting conversion through a better slide cart, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is the safer and more proven option. The high rating and large number of reviews indicate a reliable and effective solution.
However, if a merchant has specific needs regarding payment method management, such as hiding COD for certain order values, prioritizing payment gateways based on location, or renaming payment options for clarity, then EasyPay ‑ Payment Rules is the appropriate choice, despite the lower rating and fewer reviews. These merchants likely prioritize payment optimization and control over general cart enhancements.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the features and review volume, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is likely easier to set up due to its broader appeal and less granular customization options.
Which app is better for increasing average order value?
While AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer can indirectly increase average order value by improving the shopping experience, EasyPay ‑ Payment Rules can directly influence it by, for example, hiding COD for orders above a certain value, encouraging credit card payment for larger transactions.
Which app has better customer support?
The review volume suggests AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer likely has a more mature support system due to its larger user base. However, actual support quality cannot be determined from this data alone.
Can both apps be used together?
Yes, theoretically. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer focuses on the cart itself, while EasyPay ‑ Payment Rules focuses on payment options at checkout. There may be slight conflicts, but generally they address different areas of the checkout flow.
Is EasyPay worth the risk given the low review count?
If you have a *specific* need for payment method customization, EasyPay is worth investigating further. Read the available reviews carefully and consider contacting the developer with questions before committing. The app fills a very specific niche.
