AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs Nexo ‑ Order Limits Quantityfor Shopify (2026)
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and Nexo ‑ Order Limits Quantity, while both residing within the Shopify Checkout category, cater to fundamentally different needs. AMP focuses on enhancing the shopping experience directly by improving the cart drawer's functionality and appearance. It aims to make the cart more accessible and visually appealing, encouraging quicker checkouts. Nexo, on the other hand, is about control and policy enforcement; it enables merchants to impose limits on order quantities based on products, customer segments, or purchase history, helping manage inventory and prevent undesirable purchasing patterns. The primary difference lies in their core value proposition. AMP seeks to optimize the user interface and improve the convenience of the checkout process by re-engineering the cart, aiming to increase conversions by ensuring customer satisfaction during the crucial cart review stage. Nexo instead targets the backend business logic, providing tools to manage stock, sales and buyer behaviour based on merchant-defined rules. Therefore the applications provide distinct services to different merchant needs.
