AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs Today's Project: Buy Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and Today's Project: Buy Button both aim to enhance the shopping experience by modifying the cart functionality. However, they approach this goal differently. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer focuses on the cart drawer itself, likely offering features like easy access, upsells, and cross-sells within the cart drawer interface. Its impressive 5-star rating based on a significant number of reviews (489) suggests a robust and well-received product. Today's Project: Buy Button, on the other hand, centers around making the 'add to cart' action more prominent and accessible, particularly with its sticky 'add to cart' bar. Today's Project emphasizes increasing conversion rates and improving the buying process by simplifying the 'add to cart' and checkout steps. Its features like 1-click checkout and a quantity selector point towards optimizing the product page experience for faster purchases. While it also has a good rating (4.8/5), the relatively small number of reviews (13) indicates it might be a newer app or caters to a more niche audience. Both claim to be compatible with Shopify's Online Store 2.0 themes, but Today's Project: Buy Button prominently advertises 24/7 premium support.

For merchants prioritizing comprehensive cart drawer optimization, including upsells, cross-sells, and an improved user interface within the cart itself, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is likely the better choice, especially given its very high rating and large number of positive reviews. However, it's crucial to investigate its feature set to confirm it meets specific needs.
If the primary goal is to immediately boost conversion rates by simplifying the 'add to cart' and checkout process, particularly for mobile users, Today's Project: Buy Button stands out with its sticky 'add to cart' bar and 1-click checkout. Its 24/7 premium support can also be a significant advantage. Though it has fewer reviews, the app is worth considering if the specific features align with the merchant's goals.
