Our Verdict
If your primary goal is to gather specific customer information beyond the standard fields, maintain data ownership, and personalize the customer experience based on that data, Amplius Customer Fields is the superior choice. It offers fine-grained control over customer data within your Shopify store's metafields. HIKO Social Login is better suited for merchants seeking to reduce friction in the login process, increase sign-ups through social media integration, and seamlessly connect customer acquisition with marketing automation tools.
HIKO Social Login's higher rating and review count suggest a broader appeal and greater user satisfaction with its social login functionality and ease of integration with marketing platforms. However, a smaller merchant needing deep personalization should not overlook the custom field ability of Amplius. The best choice hinges on whether you need to extensively profile your customers or accelerate login acquisition.
