Amplius Customer Fields vs Loyoly ‑ Loyalty and Referralfor Shopify (2026)
Amplius Customer Fields and Loyoly - Loyalty and Referral, while both impacting customer relationships, serve distinctly different purposes for Shopify merchants. Amplius Customer Fields focuses on enhancing data collection by enabling custom fields on registration and account pages, storing data directly as metafields. This gives merchants greater control over customer information, enabling personalized experiences and seamless data integration with other apps. Loyoly, on the other hand, is a loyalty and referral program designed to boost customer retention and encourage user-generated content (UGC). It provides a range of customizable missions and rewards to foster customer engagement and brand advocacy. The primary difference lies in their approach to customer interaction. Amplius provides tools for comprehensive customer data acquisition, allowing merchants to personalize experiences at a foundational level. Loyoly aims to cultivate brand loyalty by incentivizing various customer actions, from referrals to UGC creation, thus focusing on post-purchase engagement and advocacy. Selecting between the two hinges on whether a merchant prioritizes in-depth data collection and personalization versus building a robust loyalty and referral program to increase customer retention.
