Angle: Store Credit Cashback vs Binkey Bursementsfor Shopify (2026)
Angle: Store Credit Cashback and Binkey Bursements are two distinct Shopify apps, each targeting specific merchant needs and offering unique functionalities. Angle focuses on building a comprehensive store credit loyalty program, designed to create a premium, unified customer experience across online and offline channels. Binkey Bursements, on the other hand, addresses a niche need by simplifying vision insurance reimbursement for customers, aiming to boost sales of eligible items. Angle is positioned as a loyalty infrastructure platform for Shopify Plus brands, particularly in sectors like streetwear, apparel/footwear, beauty, wine, CPG, and outdoor. Its strengths lie in its all-in-one approach, encompassing wallet passes, tiers, events, cashback, and integrations with tools like Klaviyo and Gorgias. Binkey is for any online retailer selling vision-related products. Its primary strength is the automated vision benefit claims process, integrated directly within the checkout flow. The major difference is that Angle's target is loyalty and Binkey's target is a very specific vertical of vision benefits. Angle is about encouraging repeat purchases through credit while Binkey is simply about making reimbursement of purchased products easier.

Our Verdict
Angle: Store Credit Cashback is the superior choice for Shopify Plus brands seeking to build a comprehensive, omnichannel loyalty program centered around store credit. Its focus on unified online and offline experiences, coupled with integrations, makes it ideal for businesses looking to foster customer loyalty and increase engagement. Binkey Bursements is specifically tailored for online retailers selling frames, lenses or contacts. If a merchant isn't selling those products, it will offer no utility. While it may not have as much brand recognition as other similar apps, if a merchant fits within its target market, it should prove beneficial to increasing purchases.
