Anstrex Dropshipping vs Smoke Sourcefor Shopify (2026)
Anstrex Dropshipping and Smoke Source both aim to simplify dropshipping for Shopify merchants, but they cater to distinctly different niches and offer varying levels of support. Anstrex is positioned as a general dropshipping solution focused on finding trending products from suppliers like AliExpress and automating the entire process, appealing to merchants looking for a broad product selection and comprehensive automation, including competitor analysis. Smoke Source, on the other hand, concentrates specifically on smoking accessories and potentially CBD products, offering a curated catalog and streamlined order fulfillment, targeting merchants interested in this specific niche and potentially integrating with existing smoke shop operations. The primary differentiator lies in the product categories offered. Anstrex provides access to a wider variety of products, promising insights into 'top performing dropship products' and allowing merchants to 'spy on thousands of other dropship stores'. Smoke Source, conversely, offers a specialized catalog of smoking accessories with guaranteed profitable margins. The focus on automation is present in both apps, but Anstrex highlights comprehensive automation from product import to order fulfillment, whereas Smoke Source emphasizes automated order processing and inventory sync within its niche. Therefore, choosing between the two largely depends on the merchant's target market and desired product category.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants looking for a broad selection of dropshipping products and a fully automated store setup with tools to identify trending items and analyze competitors, Anstrex Dropshipping appears to be the better choice. Its strength lies in its all-encompassing automation and product discovery capabilities.
However, if a merchant is specifically interested in selling smoking accessories or CBD products and wants a curated catalog with reliable inventory management and automated order processing within that niche, Smoke Source is the more appropriate option. While it lacks the breadth of Anstrex, it offers specialization and potentially higher profit margins within its target market. Given the significant review count difference, it would also be prudent to investigate Anstrex further before making a decision, despite Smoke Source's 5/5 rating, due to the larger sample size.
