Antla AI Virtual Try On vs Anywhere Custom Formsfor Shopify (2026)
Antla AI Virtual Try On and Anywhere Custom Forms, while sharing a Shopify category related to custom file uploads, cater to vastly different needs. Antla focuses on enhancing the customer experience in fashion or related industries by allowing virtual try-ons powered by AI. Its perfect 5-star rating from 19 reviews suggests high satisfaction among its user base. Conversely, Anywhere Custom Forms is a general-purpose data collection tool designed to create customizable forms for various purposes on a Shopify store. It boasts a range of field types and customization options. However, the lack of reviews and zero rating indicate it's either a new app with no user feedback yet or it might have some issues that need resolving. The key difference lies in their core functionality and target audience. Antla aims to improve conversion rates and reduce returns for businesses selling products where virtual try-on is beneficial (e.g., eyewear, clothing). Anywhere Custom Forms, on the other hand, aims to enable data collection for various purposes, such as contact forms, surveys, or customer feedback. The complexity of integration also differs; Antla likely offers a more seamless experience tied directly to product pages, while Anywhere Custom Forms requires manually embedding code snippets into page templates. The choice depends on whether a merchant needs to improve their store's customer experience and showcase their products, or they need a flexible system for collecting data from their customers.

Our Verdict
For merchants in the fashion or eyewear industry looking to enhance the customer experience and potentially increase sales by allowing customers to virtually try on products, Antla AI Virtual Try On appears to be the better choice, given its perfect rating and user reviews. The focus is on product visualization and customer engagement. However, the limited information available about Anywhere Custom Forms makes it difficult to evaluate, and the zero rating is concerning.
If a merchant requires a flexible solution for creating custom forms for data collection purposes – gathering customer feedback, running surveys, or simply creating a contact form – Anywhere Custom Forms could be considered, but with caution. The merchant should thoroughly test the app and monitor its performance. The need to manually embed code snippets suggests a slightly more technical user is required. Given the lack of reviews, it may be wise to wait for user feedback before committing to a paid plan, if one exists.
