Antla AI Virtual Try On vs CPB ‑ Custom Product Builderfor Shopify (2026)
Antla AI Virtual Try On and CPB ‑ Custom Product Builder both cater to the custom product market on Shopify, but serve distinctly different purposes. Antla likely focuses on allowing customers to virtually 'try on' products, implying its strength lies in visual product representation and Augmented Reality (AR) or similar technologies (though specifics are unknown from the data). CPB ‑ Custom Product Builder, on the other hand, is designed for highly configurable products, enabling complex customization options with conditional logic, file uploads, and integration with inventory and SKU management. CPB targets merchants who need advanced features for creating complex and truly custom products. The crucial difference lies in the nature of the customization. Antla aims to visualize how a product looks *on* the customer, likely focusing on things like eyewear, clothing, or accessories. CPB empowers merchants to offer products where nearly every aspect is customizable, from materials to dimensions, supporting complex pricing models based on these choices. While Antla leverages visual technology for a potentially simpler decision-making process, CPB focuses on empowering the customer to design their own unique product through a highly structured interface.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with allowing customers to visualize how a product looks on them, Antla AI Virtual Try On is likely the better choice. It offers a focused solution for enhancing the buying experience through visual technology. However, with only 19 reviews, its long-term reliability and feature set remain somewhat uncertain.
If the goal is to offer highly configurable products with a wide range of options, conditional logic, and complex pricing rules, CPB ‑ Custom Product Builder is the clear winner. Its robust feature set, integration capabilities, and larger user base (98 reviews) indicate a more mature and comprehensive solution for complex product customization needs.
