Antla AI Virtual Try On vs DPO Dynamic Product Optionsfor Shopify (2026)
Antla AI Virtual Try On and DPO Dynamic Product Options both cater to Shopify merchants in the 'Custom Products' category, but they serve distinct purposes. Antla AI Virtual Try On, as its name suggests, focuses on providing customers with a virtual try-on experience, likely using AI to allow customers to 'see' how a product (e.g., eyewear, clothing) would look on them before purchasing. DPO Dynamic Product Options, on the other hand, appears to be geared towards offering a wider range of customizable options for products, such as size, color, material, and personalization features. While both apps have a perfect 5/5 rating, the vast difference in the number of reviews (19 for Antla vs. 290 for DPO) suggests DPO Dynamic Product Options has a significantly larger and more established user base. This difference can indicate greater reliability, more extensive feature sets, or broader applicability across different types of Shopify stores. Merchants should carefully consider their specific needs – enhanced product customization versus virtual try-on capabilities – when choosing between these two options. Ultimately, the 'best' app depends on the merchant's specific needs. If a store's primary focus is enabling customers to virtually try on products, Antla AI Virtual Try On is the more appropriate choice. Conversely, if the goal is to offer highly customizable product options to create personalized products, DPO Dynamic Product Options is likely the better solution. The significant difference in the number of reviews for DPO might also suggest greater community support and a more proven track record.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants selling products where a virtual 'try-on' experience significantly impacts purchasing decisions (e.g., glasses, hats), Antla AI Virtual Try On is likely the better choice, despite the lower review count. Its specialized focus can provide a superior customer experience in that niche. However, for merchants who need to offer extensive product customization options – different colors, sizes, materials, engraving – DPO Dynamic Product Options is the stronger option, given its larger user base and established functionality. While both have perfect ratings, the sheer volume of reviews for DPO inspires more confidence in its reliability and feature depth.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on their core functions, Antla AI Virtual Try On likely has a simpler initial setup because it focuses on a single, specialized feature. DPO Dynamic Product Options, which handles a broader range of product customizations, may require more configuration time and effort.
Which app is better for increasing conversion rates?
Both apps *can* increase conversion rates, but in different ways. Antla reduces purchase uncertainty by letting customers 'try before they buy,' while DPO increases sales by offering highly personalized products. The more effective app depends on the products being sold and the target customer.
Which app is better for offering personalized engraving options?
DPO Dynamic Product Options is the more suitable app for offering personalized engraving options. Antla's strength lies in virtual try-on, not product customization features like engraving.
Does the lower review count of Antla mean it's a worse app?
Not necessarily. A lower review count can simply mean the app is newer or caters to a more niche market. It's important to assess whether the app's features align with your specific needs, rather than solely relying on the number of reviews.
If I sell t-shirts with custom designs, which app should I use?
DPO Dynamic Product Options would likely be more suitable. While a virtual try-on might be helpful, the ability to customize the t-shirt's design – allowing customers to upload their own images or choose from different templates – aligns directly with DPO's strength in offering dynamic product options.
