Antla AI Virtual Try On vs EM SelectPro ‑ Product Comparefor Shopify (2026)
Antla AI Virtual Try On and EM SelectPro ‑ Product Compare cater to distinct needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite both technically falling under the broader umbrella of 'product comparison.' Antla leverages AI to provide a virtual try-on experience, appealing to merchants selling products where fit and appearance are crucial, such as apparel, eyewear, or cosmetics. Its focus is on enabling customers to 'see' themselves using the product before buying, boosting confidence and potentially reducing returns. EM SelectPro, on the other hand, aims to directly improve purchase confidence by allowing customers to compare product specifications and features side-by-side. It is geared towards merchants selling products where technical specifications, attributes, and detailed comparisons drive the purchase decision, such as electronics, appliances, or tools. While both apps indirectly help customers compare products, their methods and target applications are significantly different. EM SelectPro allows comparisons of up to 4 products with customizable templates. While Antla AI has no comparison limitations mentioned, its use case is clearly different.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling visually-driven products where try-on is critical, Antla AI Virtual Try On is the clear choice, despite its limited review count, because it directly addresses the need for customers to visualize themselves using the product. The 5/5 rating suggests positive initial experiences, although more reviews would increase confidence. For merchants selling products where specifications and features are key drivers, EM SelectPro ‑ Product Compare is designed to help with this. However, the current lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating makes it a risky choice without further validation or a trial period. Merchants should carefully evaluate their specific product category and customer needs before making a decision.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and maintain?
EM SelectPro is likely easier to set up, requiring you to design tables and map products. Antla AI involves more complex initial configuration, possibly including training the AI model with product images, but the setup may also be more complex given it is AI driven.
Which app is more likely to increase conversion rates?
Both apps aim to increase conversion rates, but through different mechanisms. Antla by improving the customer's confidence that the product will 'look good' on them, and EM SelectPro by providing them with all the necessary information to make an informed decision.
Does Antla AI work with all product types?
While not explicitly stated, Antla AI is best suited for products where visual appearance and fit are important, such as clothing, accessories, and cosmetics. It's unlikely to be beneficial for products like software or digital downloads.
Can EM SelectPro handle a large number of product attributes?
The description mentions the ability to add custom fields for comparison, suggesting it can handle a reasonable number of product attributes. However, the optimal number will depend on the complexity of the products and the design of the comparison table.
