Anycover Extended Warranty vs Guarditofor Shopify (2026)
Anycover Extended Warranty and Guardito represent distinct approaches to enhancing the customer experience and revenue generation on Shopify in 2026. Anycover focuses on providing an end-to-end extended warranty solution, aiming to increase customer trust and conversion rates by offering protection against product defects and failures. This app emphasizes ease of use, risk mitigation for merchants (through insurer backing), and customer convenience through a 24/7 claims chatbot. Their target audience appears to be all Shopify merchants, regardless of Shopify plan, seeking to offer warranty protection as a value-added service. Guardito, on the other hand, concentrates on Shopify Plus merchants looking to customize their checkout UI and offer "skip the line" and shipping protection. This app targets high-demand buyers, creating urgency and exclusivity. The emphasis is on streamlining the checkout process and providing assurance regarding shipping security. The key differentiating factor is that it is Shopify Plus exclusive, and the focus is on customizing the checkout UI itself whereas Anycover focuses solely on warranties. The lack of reviews for Guardito makes it difficult to assess its reliability compared to Anycover.

Our Verdict
Anycover Extended Warranty is the clear choice for merchants seeking a straightforward and risk-free way to offer extended warranties to their customers. Its insurer-backed model, coupled with ease of implementation and positive customer reviews, makes it suitable for a wide range of Shopify stores. Guardito, while potentially appealing to Shopify Plus merchants aiming to optimize their checkout experience with priority shipping and protection options, is significantly less proven due to the lack of reviews.
Therefore, unless a merchant has very specific customization needs and is willing to take a risk on an unproven app, Anycover Extended Warranty is the safer and potentially more profitable option, especially for stores of all sizes and Shopify plans that seek to reduce perceived risk in their offerings.
