Anywhere Custom Forms vs Kixxl: Gang Sheet Builderfor Shopify (2026)
Anywhere Custom Forms and Kixxl: Gang Sheet Builder, while sharing the 'Custom file upload' category, target completely different needs and merchant profiles on Shopify. Anywhere Custom Forms aims to provide a general-purpose solution for collecting data through customizable forms on a Shopify store. Its value proposition lies in its flexibility, allowing merchants to create various forms with different field types and placements using shortcodes. However, the lack of reviews and a zero rating raises concerns about its usability and reliability. The reliance on shortcodes also suggests a potentially less user-friendly integration compared to more modern app development practices. Kixxl: Gang Sheet Builder, on the other hand, focuses on a niche market: DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing businesses and their customers. Its strength is in streamlining the gang sheet building process with AI-powered optimization and features for die-cut and kiss-cut sticker creation, offering tools like Staff Builder and Order Forward Pro. The primary difference lies in their purpose: Anywhere Custom Forms is a generic form builder, while Kixxl is a specialized application for DTF printing workflows. Kixxl's stellar 5/5 rating and 21 reviews strongly suggest it fulfills its targeted needs effectively. The descriptions highlight Kixxl's ease of use due to automated processes, a clear advantage over Anywhere Custom Forms' more manual approach using shortcodes. While both allow for file uploads (implied in Kixxl through design uploads), the context and purpose are vastly different. Anywhere Custom Forms focuses on receiving general file uploads from customers, while Kixxl utilizes file uploads as part of the gang sheet design and production process.

Our Verdict
For general data collection needs on a Shopify store where custom forms are required, Anywhere Custom Forms could potentially be a solution, but the complete absence of reviews and the low-tech, shortcode-based implementation are significant red flags. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thorough testing before committing. Given the 0/5 rating and the lack of reviews, its usage is hard to recommend.
In contrast, Kixxl: Gang Sheet Builder is highly recommended for DTF printing businesses looking to streamline their gang sheet creation process. The 5/5 rating with multiple reviews, combined with its AI-powered optimization and specialized features like Sticker Maker and Order Forward Pro, make it a clear winner within its niche. The positive reviews suggest that it effectively addresses the specific challenges faced by DTF print shops.
