Anywhere Custom Forms vs OPTIS Product Options, Variantfor Shopify (2026)
Anywhere Custom Forms and OPTIS Product Options, Variant, while both potentially handling file uploads, serve fundamentally different purposes on a Shopify store. Anywhere Custom Forms aims to provide general-purpose custom form creation, allowing merchants to embed forms on pages using shortcodes for data collection beyond the product page. The app's value proposition centers around highly customizable forms with a variety of field types and automated email notifications upon submission. Its target audience likely includes merchants needing to collect specific information from customers that isn't directly tied to a product purchase. Our Verdict
Given the available data, OPTIS Product Options, Variant emerges as the significantly stronger choice for merchants looking to enhance product customization. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews indicate a well-received and reliable application. Anywhere Custom Forms, on the other hand, presents an untested and therefore riskier option. It may be suitable for merchants who specifically need generic forms on non-product pages, and have no other option that suits their requirements; however, the lack of user feedback warrants caution. Unless a store owner requires a specific feature of Anywhere Custom Forms and isn't concerned about a lack of community proof, OPTIS Product Options, Variant is probably the better option.
